They could use other natural sweetener sech as suvia but splenda is so much cheaper **Q: Does it have quinine in it or just a flavour?** A: It says on the label that the contents include 'aroma quinine', whatever that is. For me not a particularly good product. Won't be buying again. **Q: The product contains glycerin- isn’t that sugar?** A: Glycerin is indeed sweet but it’s not sugar. Glycerin is an alcohol. We use sucralose as a sweetener in Zero Indian Tonic. Sucralose is by far the most expensive sweetener but it is also superior than aspartame and other synthetic sweeteners. **Q: What is the quinine content and has it been tested for safety?** A: Exact quinine content is a company secret.
