Sure, a warm wipes feels better than a cold one, but if you don't believe us, perhaps you will when your baby winces when you use a cold wipe on her bottom. After all, we adults use warm water to wet shave or to wash our faces without even thinking about it. Yes, warm water feels better than cold, but we also know that using warm water allows pores to remain open, resulting in a closer shave or more effective (and comfortable) face wash. Cold water simply causes pores to shut, simple as that. Why go cold on a baby's bottom? It just doesn't make sense from a comfort or hygiene perspective. Dirty nappies are warm environments and the pores are open. This wipes warmer is great but some advice: buy the lion heart wipes as these are the perfect size to fit in the box or else do not buy wipes that are too thick or bigger than 20x20cm. You'll need to buy every 3 months the moist insert to keep the wipes moist and bacteria free but it's a low cost (around 5£ every 3 months). Definetly impressed with this and although it is not a must have I would recomend anyone using cloth to add this to their baby wish list as babies love the warm feeling, also you are saving money on disposable wipes and avoiding all the potential nasty chemicals in them. By the way: the 1 star reviews said the plug is not an uk one but my order arrived (October 2016) with an uk plug so all is good no adapter needed. I’m using them now... you just need to take them out of the packet. The only downside obviously is that there’s no ‘seperator’ so the other version might be best if only using disposables. But it’s not really an issue if you separate a few before use. **Q: Can I use any sort of reusable cloth wipes in this?** A: I use cheeky wipes in mine and it works well. I don’t see why you couldn’t use any brand. **Q: Will this work for warming disposable wipes also?** A: There are 2 versions of this product, 1 is for warmies and the other is for disposable, (Prince Lionheart Wipes Warmer POP).
