Review: a good value - This pump works well for lawn and garden irrigation. It has already paid for itself - even if my town did not have an outdoor watering ban, I would have already paid more for water than I paid for the pump. Water is pumped through another standard garden hose to a lawn sprinkler. The pump provides enough pressure to run the sprinkler over an about 15-foot vertical rise. In 'answered questions' the manufacturer says the pump is rated for continuous duty and that the pump is cooled by feed water. I have been running the pump sometimes 16 hours a day without a problem. Bottom line - highly recommended.

I used it for the first time yesterday with a 100' garden hose. I attached a 10' RV water hose as the intake. 100' garden hose as the outlet. It worked great! I tied some mesh at the end of the garden hose to act as a filter. The pressure was good at the end - not super high pressure but enough to be satisfied using a shower, etc setting on the garden hose. Probably a bit lower than our standard household water, but more than adequate. All in all, I am really happy that it works for this purpose. It is really quiet - I would say barely noticeable for what it is accomplishing. You do have to prime the pump, but that's not a big deal for us. **Q: Can it be connected to 220 volts?**
A: Yes...  It comes setup for 120 volts but can run on either.

**Q: can this be hooked to city water**
A: Yes, you can connect pump to tap by hose for water inlet, then another hose for outlet irrigation or other application. You need to turn off the pump when you close the tap

**Q: Can this pump be mounted upside down or on it's side (or even with the inlet pointing down or does that break the prime?**
A: I believe you can place it any direction you like once you've primed it.  Alternatively you could mount upside down then rotate the cover 180degrees to make future priming easier...
I've not mounted it this way but I have removed the cover and the bolt pattern seems symmetrical to allow you to change the outlet direction if desired...

**Q: I have great water pressure from my outside bib but lousy water flow due to pipe configurations. Will this increase the water flow when attached?**
A: I'm no expert but this pump only works while the water is free flowing, it is not ment to add pressure to an existing system and will cut out if the water flow is shut off. You need a pump with a pressure switch and a bladder tank in order to add pressure to an existing system. WARNING! adding pressure to a existing system can result in leaks.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent pumps but broken plastic

These are decent little pumps for the money. I have used a lot of them and this is the first one to come damaged. The packaging is pretty good except where the on/off switch is the plastic housing is right up to the side of the box so any bump there will likely break it. Mine arrived broken. The inside box had a dent on the inside, but no visible damage on the outside. This was a backup pump, so I never opened the box. I could hear something rattling when I pulled the inner box out of the outer box.
