The reason I chose them was because they had attractive caps with inner plastic lining. I do not like metal caps because they rust so I am very happy with these. Labels are easy to apply. Jars that are 8 ounce hold a lot! No idea why this is listed as frequently returned when they're probably some of the best ones that I've found out there! Don't care… We'll be buying another set. The only thing that almost made me decide not to buy these is that the flip cap on the inner seal would be much easier to use for cooking purposes if it was a half-and-half flip top. It is way too small to fit anything but the tiniest measuring spoon inside which is very unfortunate. However due to the very well taken photos, I knew this to be a fact before I purchased them and decided to get them anyway because they met 90% of the things I was hoping to have. I would buy these again if needed. So far I have not been able to find any half sided replacement inner caps (the outer ones are just perfect), but I will keep looking.
