Review: Rich, shiney velvet, Hotel-Luxury Look - We were a bit nervous when ordering this set because we feared it looking shiny in a cheap way, almost like crinkled tin foil. Even my partner joked that he hoped our bed wouldn’t look like a giant baked potato. But once it was on the bed? Instant relief — it looks elegant, soft, and genuinely high-end. The crinkled velvet texture gives it movement and depth depending on the lighting. In natural light, it reads like a soft, silvery sheen. In evening lighting, it looks cozy and plush. It’s one of those fabrics that you have to touch to appreciate it, I tried to get close up in my pictures and video to understand the texture better. A few things to know: It runs warm. If you sleep hot, this is definitely on the heavier side. For us, it’s great for winter but I wouldn’t use it in the summer. It photographs beautifully. Even with all the natural wrinkles from the design, it looks intentional and stylish rather than messy. Feels durable. The stitching on the shams and decorative pillows is clean and tight. Nothing loose or flimsy. Generously sized. On a king bed, it drapes nicely on all sides without feeling too short. Color is accurate. A soft silver, not cold or metallic. Overall, I’m really impressed. It elevated the whole room instantly, and even the “skeptical partner” ended up loving it. If you want something that feels luxurious without being too shiny or too stiff, this is a solid choice. Review: La recomiendo - Súper suave, la calidad es excelente, muy cómoda, hermosa, y si la volvería a comprar en blanca o cualquier otro color. ## Features - SOFT CRINKLE VELVET TEXTURE: Designed with a dimensional crinkle velvet finish that adds soft texture, subtle sheen, and elegant visual depth to your bedroom décor - GLAM & MODERN BEDROOM STYLING: The textured velvet design complements glam, contemporary, transitional, and modern interiors while creating a warm and inviting sleep space - COMPLETE BEDDING SET: Coordinated bedding set includes matching accessories depending on selected size; Twin sets include essential bedding pieces while Queen and King sets include additional decorative accents for a complete bedroom look - PACKAGED FOR SHIPPING EFFICIENCY: Comforter set may arrive vacuum packed to reduce shipping dimensions; please allow time for the bedding to fully expand and gently fluff after opening for the best appearance - COLOR VARIATION NOTICE: We strive to display product colors as accurately as possible; however, actual color appearance may vary slightly due to lighting, photography, and individual screen settings ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07ZD3RC13 | | Bedding Set Type | Comforter Set | | Brand | Riverbrook Home | | Colour | Silver | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 1,663 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Polyester | | Fabric Type | Crinkled Velvet | | Included Components | 7 Pieces | | Item Dimensions | 2.44 x 2.79 x 0.04 Meters | | Item Type Name | Comforter Set | | Item Weight | 6.92 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Riverbrook Home | | Manufacturer Part Number | 81890 | | Model number | 81890 | | Number of Pieces | 7 | | Pattern | Square | | Product Care Instructions | Machine wash cold delicate separately, tumble dry low, remove promptly. They are rod pocket, perfect silver, shiny metallic-look. I have and adore them so as long as THIS comforter is actually silver, they should make a perfect match. **Q: I just bought the king set! I want to by extra on the pillows is this possible?** A: Absolutely! I encourage it **Q: What color Euro pillow shams should you suggest?** A: I put teal throw pillows into my ensemble for a pop of color. A rosy pink also looks nice and would have been a second choice...although I bet teal and pink together might look good too! **Q: I just bought this in a king set! i want to buy extra pillows. how can i do this now?** A: I just bought a couple of throw pillow ( or you can just buy the covers if you have the inserts) in different shapes/ textures than what came with the ensemble. I chose teal blue to give it a pop of color. One pillow has faux teal colored fur and is square, the other is square shaped too with teal sequins on the cover. A round pleated pillow with a crystal accent in the middle would look nice too in the color of your choice. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rich, shiney velvet, Hotel-Luxury Look *by P***X on 25 November 2025* We were a bit nervous when ordering this set because we feared it looking shiny in a cheap way, almost like crinkled tin foil.
