The 14" units usually fit horizontal and the 27" units are more vertical. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Immersion heater *by J***E on 31 October 2021* Straight out of the box with no hassle, fitted and works.It is a real pain having to drain the hot water tank before removing an old broken immersion, but here's hoping not to have to do it again for a long time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Depending on the depth of the tank the element needs to be about 2 thirds of the tank depth *by J***N on 15 February 2021* This was to replace the element in an emersion tank but should have ordered a longer element although the 14 inch one will do the job but the water doesn't remain as hot for as long as it seems to do with a longer element ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Concrete lab equipment *by A***R on 24 October 2020* I bought these for concrete cube curing tanks.
