I have included photos of both defects, also the bag smelt but not a leather smell and the press studs to keep the bag closed and secure open when you pick it up with the handle as the buckles are just for show not used to secure the bag which I was expecting them to do. It was way too expensive for what it was and I wish I had invested more and got a bag I could use daily for work , which I can’t as it isn’t secure and I have to carry confidential paperwork around with me and if I pick the bag up by the handle it opens up exposing the contents of my bag and possibly lose things out of it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nicer than expected *by M***W on 31 July 2017* I really liked the look of this bag and the price was low. I've had some other leather stuff come from India and been pleased with them so I thought I would give it a go. A few others had left negative reviews but I decided I could always return it if I wasn't pleased with it.It came this morning and I'm really pleased with it. It's much better quality than I was expecting for the price. It doesn't have a strong smell, just a faint smell of leather and wax. The leather feels waxy but this will fade with time and use. The leather quality is good and appears to be pull-up leather so will age nicely with a battered, rustic look, sort of Indiana Jones style. All the fastenings and rivets appear to be secure and none are missing. The zips and lining are sewn in well. The only fault I have found is that one or two of the lines of stitching aren't quite straight but I'm being picky because I used to be a curtain and soft furnishings maker and had to have my stitching dead straight.The bag feels strong enough to carry a laptop which is what it is actually designed for. However, I shall be using it as my every day carry bag to hold my journals and pens and bits and pieces.Overall I am very happy with this purchase. Coming from India quality control may not always be the best on these lower cost items so it may be the odd one gets shipped that isn't so good but you can always return it easy enough with Amazon. I'm glad I took the risk because mine is spot on. ### ⭐⭐ The material is good, but the design is extremely bad... *by G***I on 3 November 2017* I bought this bag because it was cheap and made of leather. The leather is quite good but the straps to close it seems to be, in fact, salvaged belts...this makes extremely slow and bothersome to open and close it, but the worst thing is that the buckles are attached with press studs: In fact you can end up with the buckle in your hand as you try to close the bag! I have had it for 2 weeks...I went to a concert...and one of the buckles were unstrapped (as the bag was checked)...well...after I left the buckle was GONE! I mean you can even trust the buckles to stay attached to the bag!!
