The diameter of the mounting plate on this alarm is 101mm and distance between the screw holes is 60mm from the centre of each hole. **Q: what is the on off switch for on the alarm for, it's not mentioned in the instructions** A: The switch is there to ensure it’s OFF before it’s mounted.When mounting the alarm body, the rotation action will allow a projection on the mounting plate to move the switch to the ON position as it locks into place.
