Then paint straight onto the canvas. The finished effect seems to shine more. I like it that way **Q: Would this be suitable to paint onto metal? Tungsten in particular.** A: I doubt if oil paint would do for you.My guess is you would do better with a specifically metal covering paint like Hammerite.
