**Q: Is the offset capability any good?  Worth getting this or the one with the hold functionality?**
A: if u need  a right angle access  is ver good as   for the other  question   I am not aware  wera  making  a folding      model   for these

**Q: Will someone explain difference btwn torx & metric/standard?..... I guess what is torx (i understand metric/standard altho title is overly complex)**

Hex keys specifically have subcategories that are metric and standard. An example of metric would be a 10 mm hex, and a standard would be a 5/16" both. I hope this answers your question.
