I've never been a big fan of superglue, I find it's always dried up when you need it and often is a nightmare to apply and not great on a whole range of materials. This glue hasn't disappointed like that though, I used it to repair a pair of walking boots which had started to split on the sole in places and the lower and mid soles were separating. I'd already bought some new boots but thought if they could be cheaply saved then they'd be a useful spare pair. The glue instructs you to shake well and this is really important, without shaking the glue is runny and doesn't work as well. I've tried this on leather and rubber (and accidentally fingers) and have no doubt it would work on lots of materials. Just wipe nozzle when finished and replace cap and good to go next time ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good glue *by R***S on 17 March 2026* I always thought glue is glue. But I stand corrected. I originally bought some Gorilla super glue but found it very runny and messy for the applications for which I was using it. I decided to try this gel with the hopes it would be easier to manage and I have to say I'm impressed. To start with I couldn't get the glue to come out of the nozzle, but that was my fault because I didn't read the instructions. You NEED to shake this well before use to mix the glue, at which point it can flow from the nozzle. The glue itself is strong and is quick to set. Its consistency (whcih is after all one of its main selling points) is nice and thick, but not so thick that it becomes unusable. You can apply a drop to the surface you want to stick and it won't just run - it's really handy. The glue seems durable and holds well. I have used it mainly to stick PLA parts I've printed and it's done the job well.
