The package came with 2 glass screen protectors (for the top screen) and 2 normal screen protectors (for the bottom screen), both of which were high quality and easy to fit. I am extremely pleased with this product as I think it's good value for money and the protectors are both high quality. I definitely recommend buying this if you have the older version of the 3DS XL.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why is it the top screen lcd has tempered glass and the bottom lcd film?**
A: It has to do with the type of touch screen the 3DS uses.  It uses a resistive touch screen.  This type of screen has thin layers that must be flexible in order to work properly.  Putting a tempered glass screen protector on it would reduce the accuracy of its ability to detect touch and possibly make the screen completely unresponsive to touch.

**Q: How well do the screen protectors fit? Are they edge to edge screen protectors for both the top and bottom screens?**
A: Sorry for the late response.

The top screen protector fits pretty snug against the top screen itself. The top protector is rounded off just like the screen, so it's nicely fit.
The bottom screen protector is smaller than the bottom screen itself, which makes it sort of difficult to position the screen protector properly. You'll have MAYBE a millimeter of space in between the screen protector and the screen, but not enough to be that cumbersome.

**Q: Does this affect the new 3DS XL's ability to close completely once the thickness of both protectors is added?  Do the screens touch after install?**
A: To my experiences no it doesn't affect the new 3DX XL's ability to close completely. The Thickness of the top screen protector isn't going overboard and the bottom screen is quite thin.Do they touch? No, but if you want some security when you close your 3DS XL I would add a cleaning cloth in between both screen. =)Enjoy!

I bought this product for my 3DS XL and I have to say how pleased I am with this product. The package came with 2 glass screen protectors (for the top screen) and 2 normal screen protectors (for the bottom screen), both of which were high quality and easy to fit. I am extremely pleased with this product as I think it's good value for money and the protectors are both high quality. I definitely recommend buying this if you have the older version of the 3DS XL.

Top protector is easy enough to fit, being glass. Any air bubbles seem to work their way out within a few hours. It's also possible to lift it slightly at the edges to work out any bubbles. The top protector uses a mild adhesive, so don't try to clean the protector itself after installation as any dust from a cloth will stick to it. Make sure the screen is very clean before application. It's actually easier to put on whilst the system is on so you get a whiteish background to work with which will show up any dust easier. The bottom protector is more of a traditional film type. It too was suprisingly easy to apply and left no air bubbbles. They fit so well, it's hard to tell that they are on. I don't recommend using the supplied cleaning cloths. Use a good microfibre cloth (not the coloured ones, they will leave behind lot's of lint), the ones that are similar to spectacle cleaning cloths.
