**Q: I have black glossy painted wheels, will this damage the paint in any way?**
A: I've just had my alloys repainted grey from silver, and I just asked the company who did it if it would be OK to use, and they told me that if it's acid it will more than likely degrade the wheel in the long term.

A: use the custom wheel cleaner from auto glym this is acid free and perfect for diamond cut wheels Don't use the clean wheels bottle.

For matt finishes we recommend using Pure Shampoo or Wheel Cleaning Mousse which are pH neutral and safe for use on matt paints and surfaces.

If you've struggled to get those black dots and streaks off your alloy wheels, struggle no more. It requires a stiff bristle brush, a bit of elbow grease and a couple of applications for the stubborn spots. But it works well. And there's no nasty chemicals nor smells involved.
