The dimensions are the same; thought I would have to drill out the holes a little, but turned out that I didn’t, so perfect! They are incredibly strong magnets (stronger than the originals)! So much so, they are hard to get apart if you let them get together! 😂 Brilliantly packaged too. I will definitely buy more.

A: No, no plain steel rings are provided. But be careful when choosing screws to attach the magnets. Use brass or any non magnetic material. I initially made the mistake of choosing a metal screw, and it opposed the magnetic force.

**Q: Would this be ok to use as a replacement magnet on a treadmill?**
A: It might work, but why take the risk when you can get a purpose-designed replacement for less than £2 on eBay.

Great product, but by their nature are very fragile, so take care! I broke one as I was clumsy for a second. It leapt through the air and hit the other magnet and snapped in two. My fault.
