Measuring just 15cm x 13.5 x 4cm, the family card game transports players to the world famous London Underground, as they take turns to discard a card that matches the relevant tube line. 2 – 8 players For ages 6+ Contents: 95 Station Cards, 21 Special Turn Cards Transport for London Registered User No. 16/5109 All aboard! Game Play Each player is dealt 8 cards and must match a coloured line from the previous card in order to play. However, players mustn’t bank on their opponents giving them an easy ride – the aim is to slow rivals down with an Arsenal of special cards that can be used on other passengers to trip them up. If a player cannot lay a card, they must pick up another and do their best to avoid falling victim to the special playing cards that demand players to ‘miss a go’ or ‘change direction of play.’ The aim of the game is to get rid of your cards before the other passengers catch you out –but above all, make sure you Mind The Gap! If you’re a fan of the London Underground or just love quick, strategic card games, Mind the Gap is a great little find. The gameplay is simple to learn but surprisingly tactical — you’re trying to get rid of your cards by matching Tube lines and stations, all while avoiding “gap” penalties and blocking your opponents. The design is fun and colourful, with a nice nod to the real Tube map. It plays fast which makes it great for travel, parties, or even a quick round at the pub. Also kid-friendly but still competitive enough for adults.
