One rattled when it arrived - the board holding the LEDs was loose. Not wanting to send it back (not worth it for the price) I decided to dismantle it to see if I could fix it (the lights did actually work). The metal holder for the lighting board was spot welded to the main frame - these had broken. I glued it back into place. However a circuit board driving the LEDs was broken in a corner where it was held to the metal frame. I examined another lamp and the circuit board was broken in the same place - in fact the screw positions did not quite align with the screw holes in the metal thus stressing the corner of the circuit board. Apart from meaning the (small) board was only held in with one screw it had no other effect. I noticed another problem - the 3 wire mains cable had the earth wire cut off just at the end of the lead where it entered the metal casing. So the metal casing was not earthed. This should only be the case if the circuitry is double insulated. The only possibility of earthing would now be via a DMX lead if it is used - surely not good practice?Overall the lights work as described and DMX control works. They were cheap, and the build quality overall is OK for the price. The lack of earthing on the metal case is a concern and I shall be rectifying this on the ones I have received. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent true 4 channel DMX light unit *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 February 2017* This is a true 4 channel DMX light unit.DMX Channel function is as follows:-Gateway DATA FunctionCH1 0 off 1-127 Total dimming 128-250 Flash, from fast to low 250-255 onCH2 0-255 red brightnessCH3 0-255 green brightnessCH4 0-255 blue brightnessBuyers beware of other very similar looking 86 RGB LED light units as these can be upto 7 channel DMX control, and these do not operate reliably on a simple 4 channel DMX controller - producing spurious unexpected results.This Hotrose light is very well made, simple to operate and bright enough for many uses.I purchased one, tried it out, was impress and immediately purchased another ... with the intention to buy more following in-use trials.Simply impressed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Lights! *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 September 2016* Fantastic lights!
