This hearty vegetarian roast is the perfect main dish for your Sunday Roast. And it’s extra special because it is stuffed with Vegusto No Moo Vegan Cheese and fresh carrots and herbs. Serve it with vegan gravy , roast potatoes with garlic and rosemary, stuffing and seasonal vegetables. Vegusto Roasts are 100% plant-based and make healthy meat-free alternatives for roast dinners. They are suitable for vegetarians and vegans, high in protein and free from soya and hydrogenated fat, cholesterol and palm oil.

Water, wheat protein (gluten), carrots, vegetable oils and fats (non-hydr.), potato flakes, rice flour, herbs and herbal extracts (3.6%), rock salt, nut butter, spices (contains celery), cereal flour, wheat fibers (gluten-free), rice starch, yeast, carrageen, binder (guar gum,xanthan), lactic acid (vegetable), vegetable concentrate, colourant (beta-carotene)Produced with energised water using Schauberger technology in a 100% vegetarian, vegan factory. Vegusto use no Soya and no palm oil in our production.

Directions








To experience the full flavour, we recommend cutting the roast into 1cm thick slices and frying them with sufficient oil on both sides for about 30 seconds. Moreover, Vegusto plant-based roasts are a real delicacy when breaded before frying adding a very special highlight to any dinner table. 
For a more traditional approach the roast can be baked in a pre-heated oven at 150 deg C for 20 to 25 mins.  During cooking, moisten the roast occasionally with gravy or oil, to avoid from getting too dry. It's best brush after 7 mins and again after 15mins and then cover with foil to keep roast more moist. 

All of our vegan roasts can also be enjoyed cold, e.g. cut into thin sandwich slices or into strips as salad topping. Similarly, you can also mince the Swiss vegan Vegusto roasts for pastry fillings.

    A very tasty meal

I am not vegetarian but my girlfriend is.  I purchased this for a dinner with her and was very pleasantly surprised.  I have tried a few vegetarian roasts in the past and have found often they try to replicate a meat flavour or utilise nuts in an unsavoury manner but this is sublime.  It is an incredibly tasty treat and I have since purchased a few and have one in the freezer at this moment.  I would thoroughly recommend this and in fact any Vegusto product, as I have tried a good few of them and enjoyed them all, whether you are vegetarian or not as either way you will enjoy this.

The food is all good, out of this World, theres nothing better and these roasts are Heavy - so just this one alone would be plenty enough for four if not five grownups. Its so straightforward to cook, with no waste and theres none of that horrid fat you would get from eating animal. All the food has an exceedingly long useby date so no real need to store in the freezer. Their customer service is excellent and the prices for the food is amazing, again because there is no waste.  Order on line and within less than two days its delivered via dpd with a smile on a Silver platter. Being a Vegan and alergic to dairy products, I will always be buying from Clear Ocean, highly recommend them if you want alternative to eating animals.
