I can see no reason why these would not be ok for a radio so long as you have the correct size. I also use GP batteries in a tens pain relief machine and get good results. In my opinion the GP range of batteries is just as good in quality as big branded batteries but not as expensive. Hope this helps. **Q: what is the length of a D cell UM1 battery and voltage** A: Overall length including top post is approx 60mm. Diameter is approx 32mm. Nominal voltage is 1.5 volt. **Q: Anyone know what mah these batteries are?** A: No idea ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good service excellent product *by T***E on 9 April 2026* Excellent 👍 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value decent alkalines, I've been buying them for years since Procell got harder to find. *by D***K on 20 April 2025* I always buy this brand.
