Our 7 year old (at the time) son got this last Chistmas, and although it took him a few days, he managed to do it all by him self! The instructions are very clear, and unlike most lego sets, where the instructions easily get ripped (when left on the floor) and fall to pieces, the manual is nicely presented and with thicker paper. **Q: I’ve just finished putting together all the bricks from the number 1 bags and have 11 very small bits left over. Did anyone else experience this?** A: I put this together last Christmas. Lego always ad some extra pieces. I got some extra over, maybee total of around 15-20 pieces but that was in total of the whole construction. I wish you the best.
