These extra strong inner tubes stop flats for 2 years because there is Slime inside. I fit them to my wife's commuter bike, but would never put them on mine. For very small punctures they do a good job of sealing the tyre. For small to medium punctures they still work well enough - there will be a slow loss of pressure and the puncture will need repairing, but not immediately at the side of the road. For larger punctures they offer no advantage.
