But, the fact is that it does work really well if you are trying to line up a door for putting on hinges and as I had 18 solid oak ones to fit, a few quid on something to make my life a bit easier was worth it. It's well made and so far has taken a few knocks and a bit of abuse without showing any signs of damage. The only oddity is that there is a bit of round steel bar embedded into the plastic which really serves no other purpose as far as I can tell other than making the blown plastic lever look a bit more 'pro.'
