The lines are thin and precise, too. **Q: Is the ink waterproof?** A: It’s a gel so no. It’ll smear if liquid gets on it. **Q: How do these comare to hi tec c maika pens?** A: I bought a few of the Maikas thinking they have a better designed look. I don't like them nearly as much. The feel of holding the pen is not nearly as nice as the traditional Pilot Hi-Tec C. I gave the ones I bought away. **Q: do these pens bleed through thin paper (like bible pages) ?** A: They don't bleed through. My new favorite. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by B***I on 18 May 2020* Pilot pens are one of my favorite. I wanted a finer point and these are very fine. Almost a needle tip. If you have the pen at an angle to the writing surface too much you will find it needs adjusted to transfer ink. That is the only minor issue but acceptable and expected with this fine of a point. The cap fits snugly with internal ribs mating up with the pen body on both the business end and the base for storage when in use.
