This finishing sheet sander provides that light smooth sanding touch on furniture, frames and fences before applying a coat of paint, finish, lacquer, or stain. Much quicker than sanding by hand, workpieces will look cleaner, more professional, and any varnishing and staining will be evenly coated.
- ◆ COMPACT MOTOR: Connected by a 1.8m power cord, and weighing only 1.23kg (2.7lb), the sander’s 135W motor provides a motorised orbital, back and forth, sanding action at 10,000rpm making it suitable for any wood smoothing and finishing DIY project. NB. Not for aggressive rough sanding or removal of thick hardened coatings.
- ◆ FLAT SURFACES & EDGES: Its base sanding area of 9cm x 18.5cm (3-2/3” x 7-1/3”) is for open flat surfaces and its flat square edges allows easy sanding inside corners, vertical surfaces or up against an edge, such as inside a cupboard. Ideal for sanding between coats of stain or in narrow corners.
- ◆ POWERED SANDING FEATURES: A large contoured handle with a wide front ergonomic top hand rest provides optimal sanding control and pressure. A chunky trigger switch and a side trigger-lock button for continuous non-tiring operation. A rear exhaust port, 35mm(1-3/8”) inner diameter, allows connection of a vacuum device for dust extraction.
- ◆ MEDIUM TO FINE SANDING PAPER GRIT: To get started 9 sanding paper sheets are included, which are fixed in by a wire lever clamp for easy paper change. 3 x P80 Grit, 3 x P100 Grit and 3 x P120 Grit for medium to fine sanding and smoothing. Uses the widely available standard 1/3” sanding sheets - 93mm x 230mm (3-5/8” x 9-1/8”).
