Covered in a matt black finish with no lights on when it is recording video and if someone does see it, it looks just like a USB memory stick. The cap is quite difficult to get off, fitting very tightly, and there is the usual USB plug underneath. Right next to this there is a slot for Micro SD card, even at this point it still looks like a normal Flash Drive.The video quality is OK, but if you are moving the camera around as you walk around I found the recorded frame froze sometimes, so I would not use this as a hidden on-person camera. But, it is very good for just having lying around in a room where you think someone's being going in who shouldn't. It also records sound.It records video in 3min segment files, and then over-writes them in a loop when your SD card is full.Controls are easy to use and instructions are adequate (though in very small print?!). Yes, you can plug in a USB to charge while recording, right ? Well, yes, but it's not "any" USB...it must be a 5V usb and it's not so easy to locate an USB like that without jeopardise the discretion of the device. Assuming you trespass this challenge: Even using a huge SD card, you will not record so much hours. 1 hour means 1 gigabyte. It's records in full hd and you can't configure for 720p to save memory.
