For so many years I have used all of the mainstream dyes but I wish I had discovered this sooner. My hair looks amazing! I can't vouch for how the dye fades as I have only just used it... but everything else was great! Firstly... no nasty chemical smell! That smell that fills your room and makes you want to choke? It is almost completely free of sent which I loved. Application... so easy. Once mixed the gel is so easy to put in the hair evenly. It almost foams a little I found? I put it all through my hair without an application brush and it was so easy and not a slop on my forehead or anywhere! Also, no burning or itching or any sensations during use! Left it in for 40 minutes, easy rinse and I used the shampoo and conditioner that came with the product... Easy! My only warnings are: 1. This turned out very dark on my hair... pretty much black but my hair already was super dark brown and is quite saturated from previous dying. I'm not sure what the result would be on lighter hair. Lightening may occur after washing. Personally I am happy with the dark shade. 2. If your hair is very long, get two boxes... I just managed all of my fine long hair. 3. I have used this product since 1990's because I had a bad reaction to a hair dye used in hairdressers and have had no problem with this. Beautiful colour and blends in with my grey hair giving a soft ash blonde colour. Certainly it is worth a try. Everyone compliments me on my hair so it has not been damaged by the regular use. As it is a relatively natural product it fades a bit quicker than a similar dye at a hairdresser's salon. Hope this helps **Q: I have light blonde copper hair but my roots are brown. Will this work on my hair?** A: I have dark brown hair, I left this on for 1hr and it lifted my hair to a bright copper orange. I had to put two brown's on it to darken. What if the hair is all grey with a few dark areas ? .. Mije** A: Hi I love this product and wouldn't use anything with harsh chemicals again it has no smell. I do however have some very resistant patches just at the front of my face which do not cover and it is SO annoying! I still wont change it though. I have probably 70% grey and it covers all of the rest beautifully also my mum is all grey and covers hers consistently and beautifully. I use WOW in between for touch ups. They don't provide an applicator bottle or brush, so you have to buy that stuff separately, and the coverage isn't as good as my previous experience with hair dyes from Boots. Keep some product spare to do touch ups afterwards.
