After the last breakout and getting treatment from the Drs I asked about these as I had heard good things. The Dr said it wouldnt do any harm so I thought I'd give it a go. I've been taking them for 2 months now and haven't once had a cold sore which is amazing for me. Will definately keep taking. No bad side effects for me. The only thing I would say is they are quite big (chunky as well as long) so if you find tablets hard to swallow you may struggle. I believe the 500mg are smaller so maybe you could take 2 of them instead or cut these in half.
