NOW I am so much more comfortable. Little or no pain.The other advantage of this cushion is, it positions my body higher up in the car seat, therefore able to look out better through the windscreen.Such a fantastic product.Believe me I wouldn't spend any time writing a review, if I thought it wasn't worth writing about.Highly recommended for anyone with lower back pain.You must position the cushion, so that the tail of your spine can sit in the hole of the cushion. It's moulded to my shape and hasn't gone flat. I've sat at my computer on a hard kitchen chair with this cushion and I've had no discomfort even using it all day. It's slightly wider than the chair so plenty of space and the non slip base stops it sliding out. In all I'm really pleased I bought this as I struggled to justify the price but it was well worth it - recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Donn't suffer - buy one of these! *by J***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 January 2017* 10 days ago I found out the hard way why it is not a good idea to use an office chair as a wheelchair. I fell out and hit my coccyx on a solid floor ouch, ouch, ouch. At least it distracted me from the pain in my knee, but that's another story..... Until you can't sit you don't realise how often we do:- going to work, at work, using the PC, eating out, cinema, doctors waiting room, and if you stand up people look at you strangely. What to do? Well a few minutes research online and I found the cush. The logic of it seemed to make perfect sense, a ring shaped cushion would not have helped, as it's just a small area that needs to be suspended plus a ring cushion would interfere with the circulation to my legs. The cush means I can sit down almost without thinking about it, I have been able to take it out and even managed 3 hours at a concert, which would have been unthinkable without. Just make sure that if you're short like me, you line the front of the cush up with the front of the seat and use cushions to support your back if needed. If you place the cushion too far back, then your "sore bits" will not be in the right place. I haven't had to remove the cover yet for cleaning, but it looks fairly straightforward.
