Review: Great product, although customer service unresponsive - Seems great, dog is eating it no problem and has lost weight (with calorie restriction and exercise) which was one of the goals. Only thing is I have been trying to contact customer service with the following query, I’ve emailed and messaged on Facebook but still no response almost a month later... Our dog has recently been suffering with arthritic hips due to his weight. We’ve switched him over to a calorie controlled vegan diet including your dry food and some fresh whole foods. I was just wondering if you could provide me with the caloric value per 100g of your dry biscuits (organic complete) as I don’t seem to be able to find the information on the packaging. Many thanks, Aidan Gant Review: ... the non organic benevo biscuits but these are even better. i recently weaned 3 dogs onto vegan foods ... - My dogs were already eating the non organic benevo biscuits but these are even better. i recently weaned 3 dogs onto vegan foods and they eat these happily. i also cook them beans (they love butterbeans), tofu, lentils, quinoa, sweetcorn, sweet potato and purple potatos, cabbage, parsley, spinach etc, they eat it all. I find if i mix in coconut cream, peanut butter and nutritional yeast they will wolf it all. it's not hard to have dogs vegan and they will live much longer as meat contains concentrated toxins from the environment, plus its cruel. When supermeat gets created people have the option to feed their carnivorous pets ethical meat (snakes etc). Dogs and cats can be vegan if we supplement properly. Knowledge is power. ## Features - Warning:Not suitable for children under 3 years. An added Prebiotic also aids digestion and omega oils provide a source of essential fatty acids. - Is Meat Free Dog Food Natural? | Dogs are classed as omnivores, so like us humans, they can survive and thrive on a plant-based diet too. Studies suggest dogs split from wolves around 20,000-40,000 years ago and they were domesticated between 15,000-30,000 year ago. So they have lived with humans co-existing on the same foods ever since. So yes, professional meat-free food for dogs is fine and as natural as giving them a name, buying them birthday presents and having them on a lead :) - Why You're The Best! | Buying Benevo is a choice for a better and more sustainable World. That makes you our hero! As for Benevo Dog Organic: Made in the UK, Benevo Dog Organic has kept 1000's of dogs across the World happy and healthy for the last 13 years. Approved. All Benevo items are 100% vegan, as with some companies, they just say "vegetarian" rather than vegan, but as we only sell 100% vegan products in our store, we can definitely confirm there are no animal-derived ingredients in this formula. I hope this helps! **Q: Why are the ingredients not listed here? The package is blurry and it's not on the description where it should be.** A: Yes- it is blurry. My 13 y/o pit bull loves it. Buying Organic is so important to me. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product, although customer service unresponsive *by A***T on 2 June 2021* Seems great, dog is eating it no problem and has lost weight (with calorie restriction and exercise) which was one of the goals. I was worried when I switched over as they'd been on their other dog food for years but when I mixed them together, as you're supposed to slowly transition, they would pick this out first to eat. :P Also, I'm not sure if it's related but one of my pups had mild dandruff and doesn't anymore. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/48558837-benevo-organic-dog-food-complete-vegan-dry-dog-food-wheat](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/48558837-benevo-organic-dog-food-complete-vegan-dry-dog-food-wheat) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
