On the sensor undo 4 screws and gentle pull apart you will see the batteries, remember the way the old batteries go in (which way up). Replace and put together. Hold sensor and the reader together and turn on, you will see a black dot on the sensor touch that against the plug-in-reader until you get a connection. screw it back on the top of your oil tank. PS if it's raining cover the hole up on the top of your oil tank whilst your refitting the batteries.
