As a customer I don't appreciate them being mixed all together on a product page! So confusing. How can the Manufacturer or anyone else answer questions about this product when they don't even know what material you're asking about? One answer was "these are very heavy". Bone China is not heavy! Stoneware is heavy, that's why I'm shopping for Bone China. Someone did not think this through. **Q: Do these contain lead?** A: No **Q: Will the speckled blue plates with the lip fit in a dishwasher or is the lip too big?** A: I bought for my daughter. She has had no problem with them in the dishwasher. I’m not sure what you mean by the lip, it’s like a regular plate and the height of the plate fits very easily. I want to add, they are really beautiful and high quality. I got the dark blue. The family loves the size of the bowls. **Q: Are these stamped "bone china" on the bottom for the white set advertised as bone china?** A: Absolutely not, at least not what I ordered.
