They may not last as long as the coated dadarrio’s but I’ll take that. Review: Amazing strings - Amazing strings, I use these on my Taylor 314, and they absolutely sing. Amazing clarity, projection and responsiveness. Really bring out the bass in guitar, and balance out the treble. I've tried Elixir HD, D' Addarios and Martins (Martin PB 13-54 were my go to before John Pearse), but none have come close to sounding as good. They're very bright to begin with but mellow quite quickly and stay in the 'played in mellow, but not dead' area for quite a while, which I love. They won't last as long as coated strings, but they're not as expensive and no doubt that they will sound 5x better IMO. Whether or not it's worth having to send £7-9 every other month or so (how long they tend to last me) for these, rather than buying £15 coated strings to last a few months longer, is up to you. But I would urge anyone to give these a go on their next string change, I did and I will doubt I'll use any other strings now.
