The bad: This disc is actually not a 10x disc - it is a 4x disc that -some- quality writers will burn overspeed at up to 10x, so if you have a budget or older drive, you may expect to see max burn speeds from 4x to 10x. My Pioneer BDR-X13 burns them at 10x, reaching that speed in CAV at about the 70% burn mark and then going CLV for the rest of the burn at 10x. On my X13 the full burn time is 11m5s and you won't beat that by more than a few seconds with a 12x disc. As such, its budget cost makes it more viable for high-speed burns. There are likely no faster discs on the market that are not also so expensive you'd want to risk making a coaster by burning at or faster than 10x.
