Review: Great way to increase your fibre intake! - I bought as an easy way of upping my fibre intake and to improve digestion for those days where I'm just not quite meeting the amount I should be. The powder comes in a large resealable bag and includes a small plastic measuring scoop which is for a portion of 16g. The powder itself was surprisingly fine and dissolved into both hot and cold water very easily with no graininess or residue. There is a sweet taste but definitely not unpleasant and I will probably use it mostly as a replacement for sugar in hot drinks, although it can also be used in baking as a replacement gram for gram with flour. I found that it filled me up a lot more than I expected. With 91g of fibre per 100g that is a huge amount to be taking in if you’re not careful with how much you use. Product is suitable for both vegans and people with a gluten intolerance, although the packaging says that the factory where it was produced does use those ingredients which is unfortunately a problem for some people in my family.
