They will go rock solid, so allow about half hour or so for the ice to start to soften until it turns to slush and then it will come out of the pouch easily. My son thinks these are the best thing ever! **Q: How big/how many mls are there?** A: Nil as you end up with noslush just sticky juice everywhere. They leak through the sides and whilst melting they are no good to take with you as it melts it leaks. When you try to slush the pouch disintegrates into nothing. Waste of time and money and bought another ice factor icy slush cup. Brilliant for using with yoghurt too gives a creamy frozen yoghurt. Once frozen top up with milk and crusha milk flavouring to have a delicious smoothie milk shake. They are just the spot in this weather, bought a spare one the kids don’t know about just for myself. Lol **Q: What are the ml capacity of each pouch? Just working out the value of each slushie as it seems a lot of syrup per used in comparison to a machine..** A: 250mls. Needs about 50mls of syrup I think. Depends , some other syrups are stronger and would use less. **Q: where can u buy more syrup** A: Put 'Lickleys syrup' in the search bar on Amazon ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works with a few quirks *by M***N on 17 April 2024* Hi, I though I would leave a more recent review on this product.First of all, there are a few negative reviews which mention about leaking.This is correct but you just have to tighten it a bit harder and it doesn’t leak after that. A good test is to fill it then lay it on a paper towel (if there’s no leak you have no issues).Once I figured out the first part, this was a simple chore and no more leaks.In terms of the product itself, does the job, wish it was a bit bigger so I can have more slush :D ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ They work as descrIbed - *by Y***R on 8 June 2016* They work as expected. I froze mine for about 3-4 hours take out them out the freezer and run under hot water for a minute then press your slushy inside the bag until you get your desired slushie feel. Pour and serve!PS.. I haven't found any decent slush syrup like the real slushy stuff served at events, fair grounds or some shops. I have tried the syrup from "event drinks" it's not the best tasting, it's little sour and has a chemically vinegary smell kinda thing. I recommend trying "Snowshock" slush syrup (if you can get it) - it's the best tasting without chemical smells or sour taste... It's what most slush machine companies and events use in their machines. It's expensive as they only sell it in 5 litres (I think). It would be nice to see snowshock listed on Amazon in smaller bottles. Sadly, I can't find any. I have only seen it on their website... Google it ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These are amazing and so simple *by C***E on 13 January 2016* These are amazing and so simple. My son is slushy mad, so I always have all the bags in the freezer ready to go. The do freeze solid, so I just leave it out the freezer for 20 mins, briefly run it under the hot tap and then it crushes to slush easily and squeezes straight out the packet. They are quite thin, but I've used them lots of times with no signs of splitting yet. At such a cheap price, I expected to have to replace them quite quickly, but they are still going strong. Great value for money!
