We started to feed the birds and thought this would look nice in the garden. I didn't expect it to last. I found it easy to put together. I added a bit of hot glue and a coat of varnish. They have been out in all kinds of weather over the last couple of years. I've seen one bird go in and out of it once. The wood is starting to peel a bit at the edges.
