How To Use Your Wooden Craft Kit You Will Need Baker Ross wood craft kit of your choosing (see below for more) Paintbrushes Paint (we recommend Baker Ross Acrylic Gloss Paint) Step 1 Firstly, paint any backgrounds in a single block colour (its better to do lighter colours first) Step 2 Create outlines of your design, and use darker colours over the top of white Step 3 Add any finer details and leave to dry Top tip: once your masterpiece is fully dry, add stick on embellishments like jewels or wiggly eyes for that extra special touch!

Review: Fun, easy - Five year old grandchild made it. Easy to slot in. She painted it and I sealed when dry by painting over it with pva glue so would stay I hope, relatively waterproof. Grandchild picked a branch in apple tree to hang it from. One of pics is screenshot of vid in case you try pressing on it lol Nice way to spend some time. Definitely worth price as a fun project as let's be honest, given it's cut to size, packaged and posted, it's cheap for what it is. No idea if will last or if any birds will go in it, but loved the time spent. I intend to buy the insect houses next as give opportunity to talk about bees and ladybirds in hope grandchild will become less afraid of bees etc

Something for the kids to build and express themselves that they can show off, but don't expect it to last long! If it doesn't fall apart then the weather will rot it in a few months. I'd suggest flying the pieces together and coating the wood with some kind of sealant after painting. However, for the price, not a bad product.
