It contains all the essential minerals and vitamins for dogs so they aren't missing out any micronutrients such as taurine and l-carnitine. My dog seems to really like it, even though in the past she has been really sulky and not eating for days sometimes if she does not like something! (Princess) She grazes on it more than usual and the bite size is perfect for her as she is Yorkie/JRT cross with a tiny little mush! I will continue to buy this brand.
