When it wants cleaning I would do it when the oil looks like it wants changing. Pour old oil into a container, wipe interior out as much as possible with kitchen paper, put some hot water with washing-up liquid into pan and wash, pour away and rinse. Hope this helps **Q: does it have handles for lifting in and out of cupboard? How do you empty the oil out after us?** A: No handles but less to need cleaning! It is very compact and square so tipping oil out of a corner is not an issue - it's not heavy. Delighted with mine. **Q: Where do you register for the free 2 year extended warranty as it doesn't tell you?** A: You will receive an email from the manufacturer shortly after delivery. Just fill in the required details and they register you for the 2year guarantee. **Q: does it have a filter** A: It doesn't have changeable filters I just checked the instructions. I have had this about 2 months it works really well for 2/3 people easy to clean minimum amount of oil needed... just buy it! ## Frequently Bought Together - VonShef Deep Fat Fryer- Stainless Steel 1.5L Fryer with Easy to Use Adjustable Temperature Control, Indicator Lights, Observation Window, Non-Stick Removable Basket for Easy Clean & Non-Slip Feet - Deep-fat Fixer - Filippo Berio Sunflower Oil, Cooking Oil, Large Sunflower Oil, Bulk Bottle, 5l --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/48627639-deep-fat-fryer-stainless-steel-1-5l-fryer-with-easy](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/48627639-deep-fat-fryer-stainless-steel-1-5l-fryer-with-easy) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
