Review: Excellent product, qwerty keyboard. - Dymo in theory make a better model than this one - but that one, for reasons known only to Dymo, does not have the QWERTY keyboard - which makes this one far ore practical/easy to use if you prefer that sort of layout - which i certainly do. Good range of print size and options including cable labels. It doesnt have as many symbols as the other one but that’s bit of a niche use case. I use this at work but i also got one at home as the quality and ease of use is so superior in these rhino models compared to the ‘domestic’ Dymo - they just work much better and the labels are higher quaity in my view. So great for computer and cabling labelling - but also great for kid’s name tags and any thing else round the home that’s needs a label.
Review: Overpriced, basic and expensive labels - It's kind of expensive, the labels are expensive, and it doesn't really print anything more special then a basic label machine that it replaced other than if you use heat shrink labels. My kids broke my 15+ year old basic Dyno printer that I got from Lidl for about 10 quid, so I looked for something to replace it. For some reason I settled in this, but it's just ok, labels are overpriced, doesn't really print anything more special than that basic Dyno did. It has a poor selection of symbols for electronics or DIY tasks, for home use id suggest getting something much cheaper unless you need the heat shrink printing, which I haven't tried yet as they're about £40 a roll. There's 3rd party labels I might try though and is probably the way to go. Build quality is good, the case is nice and the battery and charger are good, the screen is fairly clear but there's a lot of buttons and features, I have to refer to the manual regularly as I don't use it often enough to remember how to do anything advanced.

Dymo in theory make a better model than this one - but that one, for reasons known only to Dymo, does not have the QWERTY keyboard - which makes this one far ore practical/easy to use if you prefer that sort of layout - which i certainly do. Good range of print size and options including cable labels. It doesnt have as many symbols as the other one but that’s bit of a niche use case. Disappointed, the barcodes when scanned seem to contain additional letters some times. Working on this. No way to update the unit apparently. Need to spend a lot more to get something that’s updatable and certainly don’t feel the prices tags with the models above this one are worth it for us. Other than that seem to be able to use my old D1 cartridges okay.
