They come back smelling lovely and looking very poodley but I really just want them to be comfortable in the heat and not get matted. I thought it would be a big deal and I’d have to get a table and spend hours researching how to groom dogs so I’ve put it off, but in the recent heatwave I thought I’d just try it. It was so much easier than I thought it would be. I think if your dogs are happy to be touched and gently manhandled, grooming their fur is just like giving them attention, and mine loved it.
