**Q: hi... how thick is this mat please?**
A: The mat is about 2 cm deep it's a good strong style

**Q: how big are holes?**
A: The holes are approx 2cm's.

**Q: can the mat be cut down to size - for instance by cutting off a line of rings?  It is slightly too wide for my doorstep.**
A: Hello Jill, For sure you could cut the mat down to size. The way it's made means it won't sort of "unravel" along the cut line. I think the main difficulty would be to keep the cut line nice and straight. If I was doing the cutting I think I would try to fix it to a wooden board with the bit you did not want just hanging over the edge and then have a go at cutting with a long finely serrated knife or a fine toothed wood saw. Product quality is good and accurately described. I purchased this a a dual purpose item. Drag mat for overseeding a grass lawn and then as a Cushioned mat at a table saw. I would give this a 5 star rating for product price and quality but experienced delivery issues that were not in my view the supplier’s fault. The supplier does however choose their distribution operator. I received a lame explanation of ‘missing delivery information’ which was actually not true.
