Also why are the patches not sealed?** A: It does say on the package 5000 mgc of vit B12, which is a very high dose , but you can buy 5,000 mg tablets to chew as well. The package alos states B12 plus 10 essential vitamins. For the rest - Dont Know. You will have to ask the manufacturer. **Q: How long does the box last for** A: Depends on how many patches you use. By the way. I inject B12 & use the patches when I’m travelling etc. There is a big difference on your body between the two. The effects of the patches don’t last as long as the injection. An injection can give my body good fuel for about 6 weeks. The patch wears off after like a few days. **Q: Does the patch contain latex?** A: no, the patches are hypoallergenic and latex free **Q: I thought Vitamin B12 was a 'water soluble' vitamin and therefore cannot be absorbed through the skin. Only fat soluble vitamins can?** A: I was prescribed vitamin b12 by my naturopath for tingling in my fingers, arms and legs. Scientifically patches are a very good way to absorb B12 if you are deficient, second only to injections (people with B12 deficiency cannot absorb it through the stomach which is why they are deficient). Do they make a difference?. I'm not totally sure, but they are low cost and easy and there is no real downside.
