Best bonus: headset and micro plug location *by W***H on November 16, 2017* The sound is significantly better than my old external speakers. But the real bonus was easy access to the headset and microphone plugs. PROS: Nice looking; Great volume control dial. Reasonably good sound (for the price). It does what I want it to do, so I am satisfied. I got rid of my wobbly two-speaker set that never fit right on my desk; fell over often and had awkward controls. Price: I thought the price was good... free shipping was a bonus. CONS: Not enough to be an issue but here are some observations: 1) The volume control doesn't have a mute. That would be nice 2) The plug n play feature didn't automatically kick in. Had to set it as the default speakers over the internal ones. (WIN 10 Settings...). I had a brand new computer so many settings were the defaults. Took a few minutes to figure it out and after the GO Groove was set as the default, have had no issues. I gave it a rating of 3 stars based on this little annoyance. 3) Volume from some sites doesn't respond much to turning the volume up. Sometimes have to adjust the master volume (taskbar) or sometimes nothing jacks up the sound. Some yahoo videos, etc may not broadcast with output volume, but may improve if you use a headset.
