A: I bought it as exact replacement for acoustic solutions argos tv remote.  Cannot guarantee with goodmansd1955d but if says it works with it on advert then it should.

A: No it's identical to my original remote, and I don't think it had a manual

A: I’m not sure but it works brilliantly with our Matsui TV.

**Q: Which button removes the dvd on this remot**
A: I'm not 100% sure but I think you press the menu button and scroll down on the pop up menu for "eject disc"

This works just like the original. Perfect so long as it lasts. Original Tv and remote over 10 years old. If this one lasts as long I'll be well happy. Got a 2nd one just in case as the price is good. Some other comments not valid as its not a programable remote.
