Tested on humans not animals, yay! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ AMAZING sunscreen & so pure and REEF SAFE *by A***I on February 12, 2024* I bought this for a trip to the Caribbean during the island's "hottest season." Did a LOT of research to find a truly REEF SAFE (not just reef friendly) product. I really wasn't sure from the listing about this tinted version, but I was convinced to try it by other reviews. So glad I did. It held up in the extreme heat for hours and hours. I rarely needed to reapply, and I was out in the sun and water and sand nonstop. Plus, I never once had a sunburn, and I am very fair. Not even a hint. Held up well to the ocean water, and plenty of sweat, too. In fact, I like it so much, it's become my daily sunscreen/foundation and it works just as well in the brutal cold of a Northern winter. It does go on a bit thick, so spread slowly and evenly. Also, it's a bit shiny, at first, but do NOT be tempted to put powder on top: you will end up with product pilling. Give the product a little time, and it does dry down to a less shiny finish. And lasts and lasts. Some reviewers found the scent off-putting. I'm very sensitive to scent, and I did not at all. But, just be aware that could be a "thing." Finally, I just LOVE that this is a small company, making truly pure products in a sustainable way.
