I used mine to replace a blown amplifier speaker output circuit. I expect it's still fast enough for most applications. **Q: Are these ok for standard 230v appliances? I didn’t realise 250v was a thing.** A: Do not use these fuses in a standard UK 13 amp plug - they are meant for installing inside delicate pieces of electrical equipment. The rating is 3.1 amp. Reason I needed them is that I had a recalcitrant set of kitchen lights that kept on blowing their fuses. No idea where the problem was, but with a great set of fuses could remove the lights one by one, replacing/blowing the fuse each time I removed a non-defective light, until I found the cause of my dismay.
