It is a good thickness and weight so doesn't warp and gives a great evenly cooked, crispy based pizza. It's also very easy to clean, mostly I give it a wipe over with kitchen towel after using it and that wipes off any grease from the pizza and you can't tell it has been used. I've never put it through the dishwasher as it's so easy to give it a quick wash that just don't see the point. I originally bought this because I wanted a round tray to go in my microwave for when I use the oven feature and wanted something sturdy enough so it wouldn't warp, but now I use it whatever I'm cooking in and I'm so glad I did. I'll never put a pizza "directly onto the shelf" as they so often recommend because this tray gives a much better result, the perfect amount of crispness to the base and no sagging pizza stuck to the oven shelves or dripping fat onto the oven base.
