A good pastry recipe you can find by searching for the Hairy Bikers Cornish Pasty recipe online -- as far as pastries go, I felt it was one of the lower fat versions, it functioned well and tasted good. What you stuff them with is up to you, but I like to use left over lamb stew with swede, potato, carrot and onion. The pastry will then not be quite so taut once filled and mould closed....... **Q: Are they bpa free?** A: Do not know. However because I lightly coat the mould and pastry with a dusting of flour, AND the mould is only in touch with dusted mould for a second say, I do not believe that there is potential for any transfer.
