Rear camera is dull, foggy looking on playback. Audio is horrible. Any sound above voice level is distorted. The G sensor is way to sensitive, hit a small bump and it detects a collision. So set it to low. Easy to navigate thru the menus. License plate entry is unusable for U.S. it only allows for country of origin entry. Not quite figured out what the exposure settings do..if anyone has a clue let me know. Night vision "on" the camera is great, really shows what you miss with the naked eye....that is on the camera screen itself. On play back its about what you see with the naked eye. Over all Im happy with it. its an upgrade "minus the 3 min record time" from my old camera system.Update, so now the camera does not read my card, take the card out and format it fat32 with my pc, stick it in the camera it says to format it. use the camera system to format and then it keeps saying to format it. turn the camera off and on...doesnt recognize the card. take it out format it with pc and it will recognize it again. it shows 2.5 hours of record time...hit record it says format...format with camera...it goes to 0 record time and says format card....turn it off and on..doesnt recognize card....im in a loop is been two hours of this...any help?Update 2...took 3 hours but i finally got it again. format the card fat32 32ks to get it to work. turn on cam, insert card. turn off cam. take out card...turn on insert card and hit record....shew!Update 3...it was recording. turned it off and hooked rear camera up and put back on windshield mount..turned it on and back to square one. still not recording.Update 4... found the problem with this camera, the tf card slot does not line up with the card. Put a shim of plastic between the card and camera slot and now it works fine. If it continues to work like this I will re rate my 3 stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Average Dashcam *by A***L on Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2018* It's OK and not too easy to start since the manual is partly incomplete and tiny. I had to scan and magnify it. It took a couple of emails to straighten out anomalies. Now after a few months of using it, I got this Blue error on my screen as I was driving, "Too many files lock, unlock or format". I couldn't get into the menu to format it. So, I had to take SD card out and format it. That's not too good. Videos are good and clear, for both day and night. BUT, it does not have the Smarts to reduce my headlight glare to capture the parked car's license plate numbers. It's not easy to quickly remove it from the Suction cup holder. So, you have to remove the whole assembly, including the suction cup. It cannot be mounted upside down. So, it has a limited mounting option. Yes, there is too much space for the SD Card, where others have lost theirs into the Camera [poor design]. We'll see how long it will last, especially the Battery. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Nice budget dash camera *by J***B on Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2018* Sunsome dash cam review!I was going to give 4 stars but I feel the exceptional service I received was worth another star.The unboxing was pretty typical of other dash cams, a few things I noticed off the bat are the extra long power cable, as well as an extra long rear cam cable. This is my 3rd dash cam and this one has the longest cables so far.Use of the cam is a bit learn as you go, for an example. you must press ok before going into the menu, otherwise it will only take a pic and maybe save an sos file? Also I did not find a lcd dim function other than screen off time, I did like the ui, the menu system is pretty nice.The video quality is pretty good for a low cost camera, although the lens is a bit too wide at 170-175° great for large highways, the camera records 1920x1080, 1280x720, 640x480. Records to micro SD in a changeable amount of minutes. Daytime 1080p picture is noticeably clearer then the Cobra dash cam I previously owned. The rear camera has 3 view modes on the main screen and saves to a separate folder from the front cam quality day and night is ok, the power leads are only needed if you are to use the led's. Night recording on this is better than the Cobra, you can clearly see objects ahead, although licence plate are hard to read at nightThe last thing I want to mention is the parking guard feature, I did not know what it was when I bought this unit, it automatically starts the camera when it detects vibration you can adjust the intensity on normal it will turn on if a shopping cart hits a door.
