**Q: Is this suitable for taking graded exams on?**
A: Hi I can't answer for certain but it would probably be suitable for taking exams up to grade 4 or 5.

**Q: Is the 205A descant suitable for complete beginners? It will be for a child.**
A: This is ideal for a beginner. I have used these to teach children as young as six. It is far better than the cheap “toy” recorders which do not keep their tune.

**Q: What is the difference between the Aulos 205 and 205A descant recorders?**
A: Maybe it’s just sound

**Q: My Mother wants to learn to play - is this good for adults too?**
A: Yes it's a standard size recorder and so right for adults too.  Recommended to us by recorder teacher and it's proved good.
